Free Devices and Apps offered by the UK NHS to manage illness – is this the new normal? (via TheGuardian)

Published a few weeks ago by Denis Campbell, health policy editor at The Guardian, sub-titled “Health service seeks to use of technology to help patients manage conditions such as diabetes and heart disease.” An interesting step forward, but will this be the new normal, to have all of one’s body functions monitored by large institutions?
