Listed in Forbes (2020) “World’s Top 50 Female Futurists”, Jennifer has extensive global experience as a futurist, including leadership of the World Futures Studies Federation (WFSF). As President of WFSF, Jennifer led WFSF-UNESCO Participation Projects to develop future leaders in DR Congo, Egypt, Malaysia, Philippines, Mexico and Haiti. She led a network of hundreds of the world’s leading futurists, and rebuilt WFSF from a legacy organization into the most influential and respected Futures NGO in the world.
Jennifer has published extensively and is the acclaimed author of The Future: A Very Short Introduction (Oxford, 2017), recommended reading in futures courses globally; Postformal Education: A Philosophy for Complex Futures (Springer, 2016); and The Secret to Growing Brilliant Children (Bear Books, 2020).
A sought-after speaker and consultant in Europe, Middle East, UK, USA, and Asia, Jennifer has created online futures courses for Swinburne University, Melbourne; a Science & Technology Think Tank in Tehran, Iran; and Ubiquity University, USA. She is an Adjunct Professor at Institute for Sustainable Futures, UTS, Sydney, and SCU, NSW, and holds academic posts in Europe and the USA.
Jennifer was awarded the Chancellor’s Gold Medal for Academic Excellence for her PhD on “Evolving Education”. Her passion is sustainable, human-centred futures, educational transformation, and guiding people to navigate complex, global futures.
